"My father was my first art teacher. He taught me the value and joy of expressing one's self through painting and drawing," said Mary Sue.

She has worked as a professional graphic designer, art instructor, and story board artist. In addition to her commissioned work, she is a private art instructor for children, teens, and adults.

Mary Sue is often inspired by her travels and the many different places she and her family have lived. “My husband and I bring our paints whenever we travel, and it is especially joyful when our children can join us and we paint side by side, a family of artists.”

Mary Sue studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Edgecliff College, and the Art Students' League.
